Phone Call Fraud Alert
All official water disconnection notices are provided via a door tag at the service address. District staff may provide a courtesy call to customers prior to receiving a door tag. While GWD does accept payments by telephone, we will never demand payment over the phone. Customers who receive such calls should hang up, and call customer service at (805) 964-6761. As a general security practice, customers are encouraged not to make payments over the phone unless they initiated the phone call.
Customers are encouraged to sign up for e-billing on our website so that they may see their usage, access important account information and make payments. Payments may be made online, by mailing a check to the address noted on your bill, or in person at the District office.
